PADI Rescue Diver Course
The PADI Rescue Diver course is an advanced diving training program that takes your skills to the next level by teaching you how to handle both underwater and surface emergencies. This course prepares you to respond to potential hazards during and after a dive, while also increasing your awareness of diving safety.
Emergency Response:
Learn effective rescue techniques and first aid applications for various diving emergencies.
Surface Rescue:
Develop techniques to safely rescue and transport surface casualties.
Underwater Rescue:
Practice safely bringing divers to the surface, providing oxygen, and handling underwater emergency situations.
Diving Safety:
Focus on planning, risk analysis, and preventive measures necessary for ensuring diver safety.
The PADI Rescue Diver course typically lasts 3 to 4 days. The duration may vary based on your participation in the training and practical exercises.
Upon successful completion, participants earn the PADI Rescue Diver certification. This certification ensures you are prepared for emergencies and equips you with the skills needed to create a safer diving experience.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) certification or an equivalent qualification
Basic first aid and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) knowledge (Training can be done through PADI or local first aid courses; the Emergency First Response course can be completed alongside the Rescue course)
